I got up at 3:05am again today to ring my bell and pray for NYC, USA, the nations and the Olympics. The bells were set to start at 8:12am England time, which makes that 3:12am NY time. I also did this the morning before, not realizing that it was supposed to be on 7/27... I called it a pre-ringing :0). I of course went back to bed, because who wants to be up at 3 in the morning?
I had a hard time getting up for the 10am CrossFit class. With the combination of going to bed late and getting up for the bell ringing, I was not feeling it. However, before you go all "it has only been 5 days" on me, I DID go to the 12:00pm class. I tried talking myself out of it so many times this morning, but I went. It was a pretty hard workout today. After the "warn up", we practiced box jumping, which was my first time. I ending with jumping 25 inches. I made it the first time and not so much on the second. My shin is going to be pretty colors soon. Then onto the WOD.... "Amanda":

As an alternative to Muscle ups you could do 18-14-10 pull-ups AND dips.
I of course had to do the alternative because, well youtube Muscle ups and then you tell me. I am still on jumping pull-ups and beginner dips, as well as, only using the bar (33lbs) for the Snatches. I STILL felt it. I could not sit cross legged for several hours after the WOD. I think that might have more to do with the box jumps though.
Tonight I am going to see my friend Benje preform at Apologetics Cafe. He plays Jazz trumpet. Yes he is married to my Jazz singer/songwriter friend I went to see last night. I has been so awesome to see them again!!
